You took a wrong left turn at the dimensional portal
Strangers in a strange land. Artwork for a poster - the goal was to thoroughly conceptualise what might appear in the illustration before the painting stage, block out in 3d and then paint with assurance. In reality, I never stopped solving problems until the end, but the concept work did form a solid base to work from - a road map, if you will. In future, with more time I want to double down on the concept stage and churn through many more ideas until I settle for something unique.
